Vertical welding
Due to gravity an accumulation of melting material at the bottom of the stud can occur when welding vertical work pieces. Remedial measures against accumulation of melting material :  • Install earth cables only underneath the welding point. Due to the blowing action – desired in this case – the melting is kept at the top.  • Adapt stud protrusion.
