Proceed as follows

  • Remove the standard foot ring by loosening the three grub screws on the circumference of the welding gun. Mount the centring device (B) and fasten it. Loosen the retaining nut by turning 90° with a socket spanner.

  • Insert the straight pin (4) in the gun instead of the chuck.

  • Tighten the retaining nut with the socket spanner.

  • Screw the centring tube (8) you have chosen in the centring device.

  • Loosen the three screws (C) if necessary.

  • Place the centring disk (9) on the straight pin (4) and then on the centring tube (8).

  • Fasten the three screws (C). The centring tube is then positioned centrally in relation to the studs.

  • Then take off the centring disk and remove the straight pin after loosening the retaining nut.

  • Replace the striking pin with locknut and brass thread end in the chuck with the chuck extension (order no. see chapter 5.4).

  • Place a stud in the chuck and set the length (see chapter 4.2, point4).

  • Place the chuck equipped in this way in the gun and tighten the retaining nut again with the socket spanner.
